Creative Development
Some projects start with an idea of our own. Others begin with a concept that someone brings to us.
We help creators figure out what those ideas can become, from documentary series to digital media brands, and what it will take for them to succeed.
Our work often begins with designing a project’s format and extends into production, editing, and strategy.
Anyone’s Game began with a broad idea: follow Jamison Pack as he breaks bread with MLB Hall of Famers and searches for stories and memorabilia to fill his baseball museum.
We worked with Jamison to shape that idea into an original documentary series and build a digital media brand around it. Today, we lead production across episodes and short-form content while helping guide the series’ creative direction, audience strategy, and continued growth.
Building an audience
We built a short-form strategy around the best stories and moments captured during production, giving Anyone's Game a consistent presence between episodes.
That strategy has generated over
14 million views so far this year.
AJ Wilkerson asked us to record his show in Chattanooga and help him turn it into a comedy special.
We designed production around his performance—coordinating crew, camera coverage, audio, and editing so we could support what was happening onstage without getting in its way.
-
We met with AJ several times before the shoot to understand how he wanted the special to look and feel.
From there, we scouted the venue, built shot lists, and tailored the crew and technical setup around the room, the performance, and the tone he wanted on screen.
-
We filmed with seven cameras, combining tighter cinematic angles with wider, more observational coverage.
The goal was to give the special enough variety to feel immersive without making the room feel over-produced.
-
We recorded AJ’s stage mic and the audience separately, giving us more control over the final mix.
That let us preserve the clarity of his performance while bringing the room’s reactions forward naturally.
-
Because we filmed multiple shows, editing meant more than choosing camera angles.
We reviewed the performances with AJ, shared where we felt his delivery and the audience response were strongest, and used that feedback to support his decisions about which takes made the final cut.
